Rameshwaram is a holy place of India and is town on Pamban Island. It is located SE of Tamil Nadu. The most popular tourist attraction in Rameshwaram is Ramanathaswamy Temple. It is a Hindu temple and is considered as a pilgrimage site. The Kerala tour packages or Tamil Nadu tour packages always include this pilgrim site on their tour list.
Actually, it is believed that Rameshwaram is the place where Lord Rama built a bridge of stone to connect to Srilanka and saved his wife. The bridge is called as Rama Sethu.
