Munnar, which is located at 1600 m above sea level, has been formed by the merging of three mountain streams Kundala, nallathanni and Mudrapuzha. Munnar has slowly turned into a resort town sort of a place. Best Time To Visit Munnar
Winter (December to February)
Kovalam is the ideal beach destination for all the visitors, So visitors can visit this place any time of the year. However, the best would be right after monsoon in the month of September to March.
Summer (March to May)
This season pointed with a tiny rise in the temperature level, but the ambience remains through out the day. The atmosphere will clearer than before and makes it good for the sightseeing and other tourist activities in Munnar.
Monsoon (June to September)
In this season Munnar is fully furnished with greenery and exotic flora. Its the good time for the Honeymooner and not suitable for planning with full of sightseeing.
